Kinja'd!!!

My dad sent me a link to this earlier this morning. 1999 JDM Accord SiR wagon for $4700 CAD.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I don’t care that it’s saddled with an unreliable automatic transmission. I want it. But I can’t have it until 2024.

Yeah. They didn’t make a manual version of the wagon. There were manual sedans, though, so a swap is possible. I’m not sure how easy it would be sourcing parts for that from across the Pacific, though.

Ah.

Usually transmissions dont change much, could probably source all but the axles here.

Yeah, the axles would be the tricky part. Maybe the cluster too if I’m going for a perfect look. A Prelude transmission, shifter, cables, clutch, etc. would all work. And I can personally vouch for that engine being a powerhouse when hooked up to a manual transmission.
